Self-enrichment Workshop: March 2024

Last March, our Guatemalan journey led us to AN inspiring women's weaving cooperative in San Juan La Laguna, nestled between three majestic Lake Atitlán volcanoes.

Witnessing the women’s ancient art of backstrap weaving, a tradition passed through generations, was truly captivating. Alongside learning their timeless skills, we held a GBA workshop, sharing the joy of makeup and an afternoon promoting the empowering message of beauty, to more than 50 mayan women.

Connecting with these incredible artisans, celebrating their heritage and having them go one, by one to explain how makeup makes them feel, allowed demi to donate both some of her products and personal savings to women who wove an indelible tapestry of warmth into demi’s heart.
